Disorientation Week

For the past week the MBA2s have had fun activities for them to participate in as the start to leave from Ann Arbor to their respective jobs all over the world.

A couple of the activities I got to tag along with Matt also to participate in the fun. Last Thursday Matt participated in a bar crawl with his fellow class mates. Then on Saturday they had a Spring Fling dance. We got dress up in our spring attire and hang out with all of our MBA2 friends.

On Sunday they had a Kickball tournament which Matt participated in. I got to tag along and watch the grown men make fools of themselves as they try to act like they are 18 again.

On Monday Matt did a golf scramble with 3 other MBA2 friends of his. He had a good time and even though they didn't win they still had a good time.

On Tuesday evening Matt and I got to go to our first and last Tigers game. They were playing the Yankee's. We had a great time talking with our friends and people watching. Even though the game was awful and the Yankee's won by a landslide we still had fun. The best part about the game was being with great company and all of the great food at sporting events.

Now we get ready for graduation on Friday and moving onto the great adventures that await us in Indianapolis.

Phoenix

At the end of my Spring break Matt and I headed to Phoenix to visit my best friend Bekah. We had a great time while there. Thursday night we went to dinner with Bekah, her boyfriend Chris, Lindsay and her husband Tim. We had a great time catching up with old friends.

Then on Friday Bekah and Chris took us to the Grand Canyon. It is amazing how when driving through the Grand Canyon National Park you don't actually see the Grand Canyon until you get to the look out points. It was an amazing sight to see.

Saturday we drove back to Phoenix and then went putt putt golfing. It was very warm so after our golfing we headed to Lindsay and Tim's house for swimming and a cook out.

Easter Weekend

Matt and I have been busy the last couple of weekends. Easter weekend Matt and I took my parents to our house to show them and to talk to some contractors to finish the basement and do a fence for us. Here is a picture of the outside of the house. While we were there I forgot to take the camera inside so I didn't get any inside pictures.

After that adventure we spent all day going from baby furniture store to baby furniture store to look at crib after crib. We didn't realize how many different styles there were. We picked out a crib and bedding to go along with it. Here is a picture of both the bedding and crib that we chose.

Then we did Easter egg coloring with my little cousins. Next year we will have a little one to join in all the fun.

Festifools

On Sunday, despite the rain, Matt and I headed to downtown Ann Arbor to see a parade called the Festifools. It is a parade of puppets that are made by different organizations throughout Ann Arbor. It was really a neat experience.
