Bethanie had her 12 month appointment today and she is still a little peanut. She is 18 lbs 5 oz which is 10% for weight and she is 28 1/4 " tall which is 25% for height.
The doctor said she looks good and is developing just like she should.

State Fair
I took the kids to the state fair today with some friends and they had a blast. We first visited the little hands on the farm section where they got to see all the chores you do on a farm. We saw lots of farm animals along the way which Bethanie loved. Then we went to the FFA building where we played with tractors and fished. Then we looked for some lunch and headed home.

A day in the life - snapshot with us
So today I decided to blog about our day to day activities.
My day starts at 630 AM when Bethanie gets up. Bethanie wakes up and I go to get her a bottle. I then go and check on Joel to see if he is up yet but he is still sleeping so I go into Bethanies room and change her diaper. I feed her a bottle and then let her play on our bed.
7 AM - Joel gets up and I have to convince him that he needs to use the potty first thing in the morning.
7:10 I get myslef dressed while Bethanie and Joel play in his room.
7:15 I take both the kids downstairs. I put a show on for Joel and fed Bethanie and I breakfast.
7:40 - get both kids dressed, get snacks and cups around for the pool after the gym and put a waffle in the toaster for Joel bc he decided he didn't want to eat breakfast at home.
7:45 - Tell Joel to find his shoes and listen to him yell that he can't find them while I put my shoes on. Then I put Bethanie in the car.
7:47- Find Joels shoes where I told him they would be and put them on him. Tell him to go out to the car.
7:50 - Listen to Joel throw a fit bc he wanted to eat breakfast in the house even though he told me he didn't want to and he wanted to watch a show instead.
8- Both kids are int he car and we are heading to the gym.
8:07 - Joel is chanting flashcards and Bethanie is screaming bc she doesn't want to be in her carseat.
8:15 - arrive at the gym and drop both kids off at the daycare.
815-915 - work out and take a shower at the gym
920 - pick both kids up at the gym daycare. Tell Joel he has to go ptty before we leave or he doesn't get to go swimming.
930 - leave the gym and head to the swimming pool at forest park.
945 - arrive at the pool and get the kids changed into their swimming suites and apply sunscreen.
945-11:15 - swim and have a snack.
11:15 - get both kids dressed again and leave to go eat lunch at home.
11:20 - listen to Joel cry the whole way home that I forgot to give him a berry squeezer and I have to repeatedly tell him that we are going home to eat lunch and he isn't going to get a berry squeezer.
1140 - get home and make lunch for the kids
1220 put a corn dog into the oven for me.
1230 - ATT tech support guy calls and tells me that he is on the way. He asks me to call and get the network key and username so that when he gets there if it is an issue with the modem it will be easier to get that done.
1240 - burned corn dog so I eat crackers instead
1240-110 spend the entire time on the phone with tech support trying to get someone to help me.
110 tech guy shows up
115- put kids down for naps -
1:30 - talking with tech guy who tells me its our wireless router not the modem that is causing the problem (Just one more thing added to my to do list I need to get done this afternoon)
145 - AAAHHH time to relax and look a few things up on the internet/facebook
330 - go get Joel out of his room since he didn't nap and have him use the bathroom. Then I had him try on some of his fall clothes to see if they still fit him
340 - Take Joel downstairs to give him a snack and let him watch a show until Bethanie gets up.
345 - Bethanie gets up. Change her diaper and get kids ready to run errands
410 - Get to best buy to get wireless router
425 - Get to costco
510 - done at costco adn head to chiptle
535 - Eat at Chipotle bc Joel wanted to eat inside.
610 - head home from eating at Chipotle
625 - Get home and take all the cold/ frozen things into the house from costco.
630- Set up the wireless router
640 - let Joel watch a show bc I could use a break.
645 - Read books to Bethanie
7 PM - Read books to Joel and play with Bethanie as she crawls around on the couch.
730PM - Take Bethanie up to bed, put her in her jammies and feed her a bottle.
745 PM - Put Joel to bed
8PM - AAHH Both kids in bed and its time for me to get a break and watch some tv :) What a busy day.

Puppet show
I took the kids to the Carmel City Center yesterday bc there was a free puppet show. They both loved the show a lot. AFter it was all done Joel kept asking where all the animals went and if he could go and dance with them again. I told him that we would take him downtown sometime to go see another puppet show.
