5 year drs appointment

Yesterday I took Joel to his 5 year doctor appointment and he is doing great.  He is 44 lbs which is 75 % and he is 43 inches tall which is 50%.  He is all set to start school in the fall.  He has already had all his shots so he didn't have to get any this time.  The doctor says he looks great :).

Caroline - 6 month Dr visit

A couple of weeks ago I had Caroline's 6 month Doctor appointment.  She is doing great.  She is growing and developing just like she should be.  Here are her stats.  She was 12 lb 14 oz which was in the 5 percentile, she is 24 1/2 inches long which is in the 10 percentile and her head is 41 3/8 cm.

Fishers Mud Day

I took the kids to Mud day at one of the Fishers Parks last weekend.  It was quite crazy.  It was a field full of mud and people were just rolling around and diving all over the place in the mud.  My kids were not big fans of it (even though they play in the mud in our backyard all the time).  We will try it again next year :)  Here are some pics of the event:

100 Acres at the IMA

Since the 100 acres opened I have been wanting to take the kids but just haven't done it until now.  Last week it was a little cooler so I took the kids to walk around the 100 acres.  There is a nice dirt trail around a lake and a bunch of neat benches/ sculptures around.  Here are some pictures from the 100 Acres.

Caroline 6 months

Caroline turned 6 months on Sunday and she is becoming quite the big girl.  She loves to sit up and has been moving backward as she tries to get the hang of forward momentum.  She has been getting on her hands and knees this week which is exciting.

Likes: watching her brother and sister, trying to move, playing with toys, sitting, eating everything in sight (she loves eating people food), rolling around, talking, smiling, baths, water, car rides

Dislikes:  being hungry, being tired, being strapped into her carseat

She is currently eating 5 oz of formula at a time and 2 meals (breakfast and dinner).
