We had some landscaping work done this week.  We had some unruly bushes taken our and some new ones put in.  Here are some before and after pics.

Caroline's first real baby food

Caroline tried her first real baby food this last Monday and she loved it.  She is so into eating and loves to try to help me feed her.  She has ate the whole cube of food every time.

bethanies new bedroom set

Last Saturday we took Bethanie to pick out a big girl bedroom set in hopes that it will help her stay in her bed all night.  The bed came on Tuesday and she was super excited about it.  She has slept in it 2 nights so far and stayed in her bed all night 1 of those nights so lets hope this continues :)

Caroline's First Try of Cereal

Life has been pretty hectic lately with 3 children and all the running around we tend to do with them.  So there are a bunch of updates going to happen today (hopefully).  About a week ago we started Caroline on Rice cereal.  She loves it and enjoys eating so much :)  Here are some pics of her first try.

carolines 4 month doctor appointment

Today we went to Caroline's 4 month appointment.  She is doing great.  We did learn though that she has a milk protein intolerance that she should outgrow between 12-18 months but now we have to switch to a different formula and no dairy products in her diet yet.  She also has some reflux which could be caused by her milk protein intolerance but it is causing her to sound congested so the Dr. suggested we also thicken her fomula to help with the spit up. 

She is growing great though.

She is 11 lbs 6 oz which is at 10 % and she is 23 1/8 inches which is at 10%.  Her head is 39 cm which is at 5%. 

She was given the go ahead to start solids which we are going to start tonight :).

Caroline 4 months

I am 4 months now and I have been learning some new things.  I can now roll from my back to my tummy and from my tummy to my back.  I am not proficient at it yet but I can do it.  I can also grab my toys and try to get them into my mouth.  I have also discovered how to suck my thumb and fingers.  I am officially sleeping through the night now and drink about 5 oz every 3 hours.  I am a very good baby :)

Likes:  watching my siblings, talking to mommy and daddy, eating, being outside, baths

Dislikes:  not being held, being tired, being strapped into anything
