Matt & Amanda-- I can't remember if I suggested this to you guys or not yet, but since you say he likes being held and being swaddled, have you considered "baby wearing"? Obviously since I don't have kids of my own, I have no first hand experience, but from what I hear it's a really great way to bond with children when their young AND keep your hands free for other things you need to do.
