Bethanie - 8 months

Today I am 8 months and I sure do like to keep mom and dad on their toes. I asserted my independence this morning by deciding to not nap for them..

Likes: playing with Joels toys, watching the dogs, climbing on Joel, exploring, talking, eating, baths, being held by mom

Dislikes: when Joel is to rough with me, laying down in my carseat, getting strapped into the stroller

I am still having alot of seperation anxiety especially when someone other than mommy or daddy is holding me. I am getting better about playing by myself even if mom does walk out of the room. I just recently learned to pull myself up and cruise which I love to do on anything I can get my hands on. I also have discovered the stairs.

ST. Patricks Day Party

A couple of days ago we were invited to a st. patricks day party. Here are some pics from the day:

Bethanie - 7 months

I am now 7 months and boy have I changed over the last few weeks.

I am now doing the worm/crawling to get to the things I want. This is not making my brother very happy bc I keep touching all of his things.

I have started to have a lot of seperation anxiety. I cry when people other than my mommy hold me and I hate it when my mommy walks out of a room even if I can still see her.

I am now wearing 6-9 month clothes and am still in size 2 diapers but will soon be moving to size 3s.

I eat 3 meals a day and love eating my solids.

I get 4 - 6 oz bottles a day. I usually sleep all through the night now but on the occasion still wake up at night.

I typically take 2 one hour naps a day and go to bed at 745 and get up at 630 in the morning.

Dislikes: being put down, seeing my mommy and she isn't holding me, being strapped into my carseat,

Likes: eating puffs and solids, my bottles, my brother, taking baths, watching my brother and dogs run around,

Bethanie - 6 months

I am now six months and have learned so many new things this month. I am now a rolling machine and I can turn myself around in a circle to get to things I want. I have started babbling some and I definitely let mom and dad know when I am not happy with something. I have started having some seperation anxiety and I don't like it when mom, dad or Joel walk out of a room. I am quite the wiggle worm to and make it hard for anyone who is holding me. I still liked to be held a lot but I also like to get down on the floor and get into things.

I am currently eating 2 meals a day. I eat breakfast and dinner. New foods I have tried this month: peaches, pears, banana, peas, green beans, strawberries.

I am still wearing size 3-6 clothes and size 2 diapers.

Likes: baths, puffs, grabbing things, watching the dogs, playing with Joel, getting into things, being held,

Dislikes: being left alone, going down for naps, having my face washed, being strapped into my carseat.
