Its a GIRL!!

We went today for our anatomy scan. Everything looked good and the baby is measuring right on schedule. Here are a few pictures of the ultrasound. I have to go back in a month for another scan bc the baby wouldn't turn so they could get a measure of the nose bone. The heart rate was 140.ARMS

18 weeks

California Trip

Day #1: Legoland. Joel couldn't ride a lot of the rides but he could ride a few. He had a great time looking at all the displays and playing in the special area for kids his age. He loved playing in the water also.

Day #2: San Diego Zoo. Joel loved looking at the fishes and the Monkeys. He had a great time.

Day #3: LA: We went to Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum. Joel had a great time dancing to all the music and chasing the lights on the floor. We also walked down the Hollywood walk of Fame. We saw some famous people who were going to the premier of the movie Paul.







Day #4: We went on a NBC studio tour, drove down Rodeo drive and Sunset strip.

Day #5: Here is a picture from our drive down route 1 - The Pacific Coast Highway. When we were driving on a 100 mile portion of the road where there was no way to get off we got to about mile 85 and the road had collapsed. They sent us all back where we came from because the road was closed. This was a bummer bc we were a bout 15 miles from where we wanted to be but we had to go back and stay in a small town for the night and continue on to San Francisco in the morning.
Day #6: This day we went to Fishermans Wharf to hang out. We walked around and saw the sea lions. Joel thought that they were pretty cool.
Day #7: We went to Alcatraz. It was raining on this day and Joel really enjoyed playing in the rain and puddles the most.
Day #8: On the last day we went to see the golden gate bridge. Joel enjoyed looking at all the rocks below and the boats.

16 wk appointment

I had my 16 week doctors appointment today and everything went well. The doctor said that my blood pressure was good and that the heart rate was good also. The heart rate was 141 today but the baby is definitely a squirmer. Mark your calendars big ultrasound is scheduled for March 31st :)

Cruise Feb. 2011

Joel and I went on a cruise with Nana and Grandpa Kaprove, Aunt Ali, Aunt Sara and Chloe. We had a great time. The first day was spent at sea.

Our first stop was Grand Cayman. We took the kids on a boat that had a lower deck for observing the coral, fish and ship wrecks. Joel loved looking at all the fishes.


Our second stop was Cozumel, Mexico. There we went to a beach where the kids had lots of fun playing in the sand.


Our third stop was another beach in Mexico.

Our fourth stop was in Honduras where just us girls took the kids to a beach. It was the best beach yet. The sand was soft and the water wasn't freezing cold.


The last day was spent at sea.
