Visit to Dallas

Matt and I went a couple of weekends ago to visit some U of M Business school friends Karishma and Ashok in Dallas. My friend Karishma was pregnant at the same time I was and we had our babies 6 weeks apart. This is the first time that the boys got to meet each other and they had a great time playing together.

Day 1: We took the boys to the World Aquarium. It was pretty neat.

Day 2: The husbands went golfing and the women took the boys to the childrens museum. There were two problem with this situation. The women did not know that 1. The Texas vs Oklahoma game was at the same place as the Childrens Museum and 2. The State fair was also at the same place as the Childrens Museum. Despite getting stuck in traffic for an hour and a half the boys had a great time playing at the childrens museum.

Nana and Grandpa visit

A few snaps from the weekend with Nana and Grandpa Kaprove. We spend Saturday going to the Zoo and then Sunday we went to the Carmel International Arts Festival. Fun was had by all.

Apple picking

Joel and I went apple picking today with the Northside Stay at home mom's group along with one of our playgroups. We had a great time picking apples with our friends and going on a tractor pull ride.

aunt alison's visit

Aunt Alison came to visit this past weekend and we did lots of fun things. We went to the childrens museum, to a splash park, and to gymboree. Here are some pictures of all the fun.

Joel - Update

Joel is officially taking steps on his own. His first steps were August 12th but he is now taking up to 4 steps on his own. He loves to walk with your fingers and take you everywhere.
