Caroline's 15 month appointment

Caroline had her 15 month appointment last week and is doing great.  She is 18.8 lbs which is 5 percent.  She is 28 1/2 Inches which is 5 percent.  Her head is 44 1/2.  All around she is doing great.  She is miss independent and doesn't want anyone to help her.

Likes: baths, playing outside, the dogs, eating anything, milk, music, going bye-bye, milk, her brother  and sister, reading

Dislikes:  being told no, coming inside, being strapped in a stroller or car seat,

Caroline's words:  Night night, Doggie, Baby, Hello, Hi, Bubble, Outside, Go, Bye bye, Grandpa, Up, Down, More, Eat, Water, Milk, No, Nana, Eye, Nose, Mouth, Mama, Dada, Read, Swing, Go, mine, Walk, Backpack, Thank you ,Jump, yogurt, "I see", 

She can go up and down the stairs independently.  She Can eat with utensils and drink from a straw.  She can throw and roll a ball.  

Disney on ice

A couple of weekends ago we took the kids to see disney on Ice.  It was by far the best disney on Ice we had seen and the kids loved it.  Here are some pictures from the performance:

Caroline's 1 year check up

I took caroline for her 1 year appointment about 2 weeks ago and here were her stats.  She weighs 16 lb 12 oz which is just below 5%.  She is 27 1/2 inches tall which is between 10 and 15% and her head is 45 cm.  The doctor said that she looks good but we should try to feed her some more good high fat foods.  He said to make sure we don't feed her to many empty calories since she is so small.

Likes:  books, songs, dancing, going bye-bye, her sister and brother, baths, food, milk

Caroline now has 1 tooth and is working on another.  She loves to eat anything she can get her hands on and enjoys drinking milk.  She loves playing with her brother and sister.  She hates when mommy walks out of the room.

Marvel Super Heroes Live

At the beginning of January I took Joel on a date for the day to Marvel Super Heroes Live.  He loved it... Here are some pics from the show:

Basketball

Joel chose to do basketball as his winter sport this year.  He is improving each week and runs back and forth down the court with his team.  Here are some pics of his team.

Hanukkah program

On Wednesday the older kids had their Hanukkah program.  They both did a great job.  This is Joels last year in the Hanukkah play.  Here are some pics from their performance.

Bethanies Dance class

Each week Bethanie does tap, ballet and gymnastics in an hour class.  She is doing great.  This week they had a showcase where they showed off some of their skills.

Caroline 11 months

I can't believe that in 1 month caroline will be a year old.  Boy how the year has flown.  She is such a very smart little girl and is very active.

Likes:  going up and down the stairs, baths, bottles, table food, her sister and brother, music

Dislikes:  sitting in the stroller, being strapped in the carseat

She can now climb up and down the stairs by herself.  She is cruising like a champion.

She is eating 3 - 6 oz bottles and eating 3 meals a day.  She is wearing size 3 diapers but quickly moving up to size 4.  She is takind 1 nap a day and sleeps from 7 pm - 7 am. 

She is wearing size 9- 12 month clothes.

Legofest

Last weekend we took the kids to Legofest.  They had so much fun looking at all the creations that were built and creating their own creations.

Caroline 10 months

Last week Caroline turned 10 months and boy is she keeping us busy.  She still has no teeth and eats 4 - 6 oz bottles daily.  She also has 3 solid meals a day and eats whatever we are eating besides things that have milk products in them. 

She loves to play with her sister and brother.  She loves her baths and loves splashing around in the water.

Likes:  baths, eating, singing, music, talking, climbing the stairs, opening and closing kitchen cabinets and drawers, pulling up on things, being held

Dislikes:  being hungry, being walked away from,  being strapped into her carseat
