4 months old!!

I am four months old and doing great. I am now sleeping through the night. I do like to wake up sometimes though and talk to mom and dad through the monitor. Then they come in and put my pacifier back in my mouth and off to dreamland I go. I am still taking two naps a day but may be starting to cut that out soon. I recently have discovered that I can use my hands and play with my toys. I love to look at my toys on my carseat now and try to figure out how to play with them. I love to eat my rice cereal and can't wait until I can start real baby food soon. I have even started to open my mouth for the spoon.

Things I like: talking, watching the dogs, standing like a big boy, watching people and children, playing in my bouncy seat, music, being read to, chewing on my hands, eating, watching football on tv, bathtime, sitting in my big boy highchair,

Things I don't like: laying down like a baby, being strapped into a carseat, getting burped halfway through a bottle, tummy time

Joel's First Thanksgiving

4 month appointment

Joel had his four month appointment and he is doing great. He is 14 pounds 6 oz which is the 25-50th percentile. He is 25 inches long which is the 50th percentile and his head is 41 cm which is the 10-25 percentile.

He got the go ahead to start cereal this week and then start baby food the next week. He has a little bit of cradle cap on his head which the doctor said will go away and he is reaching all of his milestones right on time.

He had three shots today and was a trooper through all of them. He is now sleeping soundly in his carseat.

Cots Game

Matt and I had the privilege of going to the colts game last Sunday. We had a great time watching the colts come to a nail biting win.
